"Connecting our Downtown through the activation of underutilized alleyways"

Phase 1 of the Downtown Pathways Project has been completed.  Phase 1 is the construction of 3 of 5 alleyways that are part of the Downtown Pathways Project.  The improved alleyways are alleys 1, 2, and 4. Phase 2 of the Downtown Pathways Project is the completion of Alley 3.  Alley 3 is the alleyway next to the Wells County Foundation, Inc. building on the south side of the 200 W. Block of Market St.  It also includes adding seating, art improvements, sidewalk improvements, and security cameras in the Phase 1 and Phase 2 alleyways.  We are currently fundraising for Phase 2.  We have been awarded $100,000 by Eli Lilly for this project.  CLICK HERE to learn more about Phase 2 of the Downtown Pathways Project.

Phase 3 of the Downtown Pathways Project is the completion of Alley 5.  Alley 5 is the alleyway on the north side of the 100 E Block of Market St.  Phase 3 will also include the creation of a downtown endowment to assist with the maintenance and upkeep of these spaces. CLICK HERE to learn more about Phase 3 of the Downtown Pathways Project.
